Eleanor Pearson

As a Senior Account Executive with Honner, Eleanor provides support for a range of financial, fintech and corporate clients.

Eleanor holds a Bachelor of Business degree, majoring in public relations, from the Queensland University of Technology.  

Eleanor previously worked at ASXlisted financial administration company, Computershare. In this role she established an interest in financial services, working across a large and diverse portfolio of companies, ranging from ASX top 200 to unlisted companies.  

Eleanor also undertook work experience at one of Queensland’s leading PR agencies and is highly motivated to further develop her PR expertise and broaden her professional experience. 

 As a Queenslander who has now made her home in Sydney, you will find Eleanor near the ocean and under the sun when she is not in the office. She plans to visit all the beautiful beaches Sydney has to offer and enjoy the city’s many iconic restaurants and cafés.  

Zoe Paterson

Zoe Paterson has almost 20 years’ experience as a content writer, journalist and editor specialising in personal finance, property, financial services and financial technology. 

Zoe is highly skilled at tailoring content to suit a variety of audiences, styles and formats.  As a consultant at Honner, she supports clients by producing content ranging from blog posts and infographics, to video scripts, opinion pieces, feature articles and long-form white papers.

 Zoe has spent the bulk of her career as a journalist and editor with The Australian Financial ReviewFinancial Review Smart InvestorAsset, and Money Management. She has also worked as a freelance writer for media and major corporate clients including Australian banks and fintech consultancies.

Before beginning her career in journalism, Zoe worked as a management consultant and business analyst in Australia and the United Kingdom.

She holds a Graduate Certificate in Journalism and a Bachelor of Manufacturing Management from the University of Technology Sydney.

In her spare time, Zoe is either outdoors kayaking, hiking, swimming or gardening, or indoors working on sewing projects.

Natasha Moldrich

Natasha brings more than 25 years’ in-house marketing and communications experience having worked with leading Australian companies such as BT, HUB24, AMP and CBA. 

She has held senior positions in both marketing and product teams yielding a strong technical understanding of funds management, platforms, superannuation and investments. Over the years she has played an instrumental role in financial product launches, campaign management, communications strategy and governance, thought leadership, as well as corporate messaging and positioning.

Natasha is passionate about financial communications and making complex topics easy to understand for investors and industry participants. She has written for corporate, print and online publications, disclosure documents, websites, social media, videos and events.

Natasha holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics (Hons) majoring in Economics and Natural Resource Economics, from the University of Sydney. In her previous role at BT, she was RG146 compliant and has completed a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. 

As an active member and student of the Australian Writer’s Centre for a number of years, Natasha’s articles have been published in a range of publications including Mindfood, The Big Issue and The Last Post.

Outside of work, Natasha loves to pursue jazz singing, creative writing, anything beach-related and of course, spending time with family and friends.

Iona Ramsay

Iona provides Executive Assistant support to Honner’s management team, as well as managing the Agency’s busy Sydney office.

In her role Iona provides comprehensive support to the Agency Founder, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer and facilitates the smooth and efficient running of the Agency. Iona acts as a central liaison between Honner’s support teams across HR, IT and accounts. She also acts as the first point of contact for the wider team, providing general administrative support, managing travel and diaries and assisting with the agency’s annual audit process.

Iona brings nearly 20 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, primarily in the financial services industry having worked at a number of large multi-national organisations including Royal Bank of Canada, BNP Paribas and Dexus Property Group.

Iona holds a BSc in Management Sciences from the UK’s University of Southampton.

In her spare time, Iona loves to get out and about around Sydney, especially to our fantastic beaches and walking tracks; she is also an avid reader.

Samantha Rockliff

Sam has worked in financial PR, corporate communications and marketing for over 15 years in both Sydney and London.

Starting her career as a corporate lawyer in Brisbane, she brings strong experience in issues and crisis management as well as corporate reputation and project management.

Sam has been responsible for developing and managing the external and internal communications strategies for a range of financial brands including a focus on both institutional and retail wealth management markets. She bring proven strong business to business (B2B) as well as B2B to consumer capabilities. Sam joined Honner from AMP where she spent a decade leading significant customer experience and marketing projects across multiple channels. During this time she oversaw the launch of Marketing HQ, AMP’s internal marketing platform for its then 2,500+ financial adviser network; project managed the launch of AMP’s ‘Spark’ logo; and was senior media manager for AMP’s financial services business.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Business/ Marketing & Accounting (Honours) from Queensland University of Technology, as well as a Diploma in PR (Distinction) from the London School of Public Relations.

In her spare time Sam enjoys shopping at food markets, cooking and going on walks with her family and their dog. Sam is also a fellow unpaid Uber driver on weekends, running her four kids around to their various activities!

Barry Rafe BSc. MRes. FIAA. FAICD

Barry joined the Honner board as Non-Executive Director in 2021.

A long-time associate of Honner, Barry brings more than 30 years’ experience working across Australia’s financial services industry. As NED Barry works with Honner’s senior management team to provide guidance and management insight, supporting the ongoing growth and evolution of the firm. 

Barry is a financial services professional with experience as a director, CEO and consultant to significant financial services firms and superannuation funds. He advises organisations and their boards on practices to enhance performance.

Barry presents courses on board governance, finance and strategy for the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is a Fellow of the Actuaries Institute and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. 

Rafe Consulting was established in 2010 specifically to help individuals and organisations answer Socrates’ questions “What ought one to do”.

Barry has served on several for-profit and not-for-profit boards as well as several advisory boards. Most recently, Barry was President and Chair of the Actuaries Institute and was on the board of Greenpeace Asia Pacific.  

Barry has held senior consulting positions as a strategy partner at Accenture and head of the financial services practice at Trowbridge Consulting. He was a senior manager with AMP and the CEO of Mellon Bank’s Australian operations. In his consulting roles he has advised many of Australia’s largest financial services businesses on distribution and product development and governance.

Susie Bell

Susie Bell is Honner’s Managing Partner.

Susie works closely with Founder Philippa Honner to drive growth and the direction of the firm, with a particular focus on people and culture. She also leads the Agency’s global affiliate activity and involvement with our global agency networks.

Susie brings more than 18 years’ specialist agency experience working across major financial services organisations including NAB, Nuveen, Russell Investments, Cboe Global Markets, Franklin Templeton, the Actuaries Institute of Australia, AIA Australia, Fidelity, and The Royal Bank of Scotland insurance brands.

Prior to joining Honner Susie was a senior account manager with Lansons – one of the UK’s largest independent public relations and public affairs consultancies. Before Lansons, Susie spent two years with Citigate Dewe Rogerson – a leading international consultancy specialising in financial and corporate communications.

Susie holds a BA Hons German and Italian 2:1 from the University of Lancaster and also speaks French. In her spare time Susie enjoys smashing out a gym session and going on bush walks with her family.

Priya Karyekar

Priya joined Honner in 2014 and works with the management team and external accountants to oversee the financial accounts and reporting for the business, as well as providing support on office management.

Priya has a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University, India, and is a qualified Australian CPA. Following her early accounting training with Ernst & Young in India, Priya migrated to Australia in 2003. She brings more than 15 years’ experience working in a range of accounting roles for organisations both large and small.

Rashmi Punjabi

Rashmi is the Head of Business Development at Honner with over a decade of experience in corporate, listed and consumer public relations.

Rashmi has been with Honner for more than six years and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). She brings deep experience building integrated strategic campaigns and working closely with clients to deliver highly proactive media relations, content and social programs, particularly in the financial advice and asset management space. Key clients have included Colonial First State, Janus Henderson Investors, The Financial Planning Association of Australia and Betashares. In recent years, Rashmi has led Honner’s work in the growing cryptocurrency and digital assets sector, working with clients such as BTC Markets, Crypto.com and MH Carnegie.

As Head of Business Development, Rashmi’s focus is to drive new business and organic growth across the agency as well as provide input into the strategic direction of the firm.

Prior to joining Honner in 2016, Rashmi worked at Adfactors PR – India’s largest and multi-award winning independent PR agency – and a key global agency partner of Honner. At Adfactors Rashmi worked in the Investor Relations team managing a range of financial communications projects such as IPO listings, open offers, earnings announcements and has keen interest in helping organisations communicate more effectively with their stakeholders.

Rashmi holds a Masters in Economics degree from The University of Warwick, UK with specialisation in Global Finance and Derivative Securities and Markets.

As a new mum Rashmi works part-time and spends most of her non-working time with her daughter.

Guy McKanna

Guy is a highly-experienced corporate communications consultant, having counselled leading organisations in Australia and overseas on a wide range of issues and challenges.

Guy started his career at The Australian Financial Review, making the move to Corporate Communications over two decades ago. He has since worked in public relations consultancies as well as in-house with a range of bluechip financial services brands including Merrill Lynch, Deutsche, NAB , Fidelity, AMP Capital and most recently BNP Paribas.

He brings to the team a depth of expertise and experience that delivers tangible results. His counsel covers strategy development, implementation and integration; internal and external communications; marketing communications; online, digital and social communications; thought leadership; and issues and crisis management.

He understands the needs of the various stakeholders and how to meet them with practical and effective counsel and action.

Guy is also a founding member of the not-for-profit Australian Transformation and Turnaround Association and understands the dynamics of today’s changing marketplace and what it takes for organisations to not only survive, but thrive.

Outside of a varied work and family life, Guy enjoys paragliding, paddle boarding, horse riding and small boat sailing.
