Sarah Smith

Account Manager

Sarah supports a range of clients with their external and internal communications programs and plays an integral role in driving media relations, content development and strategic planning.
Sarah previously worked in external relations for the Commonwealth Government’s export credit agency, known as the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation (Efic). Here she developed her skills in written government communications, producing a range of communications materials including: formal submissions to Senate inquiries, ministerial speeches, briefing notes and client case studies. She managed Efic’s relationship with its oversight authority, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and drove regular engagement with other government departments and agencies. Given Efic’s focus on lending to small businesses, Sarah brings with her a unique government perspective on the financial services sector.
Beyond domestic government relations, her experience also covers international relations, having supported communications and engagement with various international agencies and multilaterals including the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.
Sarah graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
On weekends, Sarah starts the day with breakfast at one of Sydney’s many café hotspots before balancing this indulgence with a spot of afternoon yoga or Pilates.
